***Note*** The Pre-Marriage Education Course can be administered by a minister to a couple, or it can be accomplished in a do-it-yourself fashion and returned to the AAECMI for processing. 

Either way, it is required that couples complete the course together.  Upon successful completion of the course the AAECMI will provide a certificate of completion giving credit for four hours of marriage counseling.  Most states offer a significant discount on the marriage license when marriage counseling has been accomplished by a couple. 

GETTING STARTED is simple…  Upon purchase of $20 you will receive an email providing a password to the course content and pages on this site.  It is recommended that the transcripts be downloaded and printed from the AAECMI website for reference purposes when completing the pre-marriage education worksheet.   The pre-marriage education worksheet also serves as the test for the course.   A minimum score of 70% is required on the worksheet for successful completion of the course.  The sessions consist of two homework assignments that must be completed: a differences list, and a love letter to each other.  These two homework assignments are explained in the sessions.

The transcripts follow the audio sessions which should be downloaded and listened to in order.  The order is as follows:  Introduction, Session One, Session Two, Session Three, Divorce Yourself, and Not Your Spouse, and the Roman Road.  The worksheet must be turned in to the AAECMI upon completion of the material for scoring.   Feel free to contact me, Dr. John A.
